Introduction

About Text Sorter

Text Sorter organizes line-based content into alphabetical, reverse alphabetical or length-based order directly in your browser. Paste names, keywords, URLs, product codes, tasks, tags, file lists or exported spreadsheet values, then choose the ordering that fits your workflow. The Ignore Case option lets uppercase and lowercase values compare naturally without altering the original line text, while Remove Empty Lines cleans blank rows before sorting. Length mode orders shorter entries before longer ones and uses alphabetical comparison when two lines have the same length, producing predictable output. A summary shows the original and resulting line counts so list cleanup is easy to verify. The sorted result can be copied into another application or downloaded as a UTF-8 TXT file. This is useful for SEO lists, inventory preparation, research notes, development fixtures, contact cleanup and general text organization. All sorting, cleanup and download creation happen locally with JavaScript; Toolexa does not upload or permanently store your text. The responsive two-panel editor keeps source and output visible on larger screens and stacks them comfortably on mobile, with Clear available for quickly starting another sorting task.
