An online calculator is useful for planning and comparison, but it cannot account for every contract term, regulation, institution-specific method or professional judgment.
Before publication, calculator formulas are reviewed against their stated mathematical method and tested with representative examples. Where practical, known results or independently calculated samples are used to confirm the implementation.
