Introduction

About PDF Splitter

PDF Splitter is a private, browser-based utility for extracting selected pages from a PDF into a new document. Choose a PDF and the tool reads its page count locally, helping you confirm the available range before processing. Enter individual pages or ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, then create a new PDF containing those pages in the order requested. This is useful for separating chapters, sharing only relevant forms, extracting receipts, preparing study material, reducing a document to key pages or creating a smaller attachment. The page selection is validated against the source document, with duplicate pages removed to prevent accidental repetition. After extraction, a result summary shows the source page count and number of selected pages, and the new PDF can be downloaded immediately. PDF processing is performed in your browser with JavaScript; the source file and extracted document are not uploaded to Toolexa or permanently stored. The responsive interface works across desktop and mobile devices and includes clear reset and share controls. For protected, encrypted or damaged PDFs, the tool displays a helpful error instead of sending the file anywhere.
